The Warner Family genealogical research papers consist primarily of the notes and correspondence generated by Mildred Warner Nunn in the course of tracing her family's lineage, as well as an assortment of collected family papers dating from1633 to 1920. Mildred Warner Nunn was an amateur genealogist working from 1960 to 1962 who traced her descent from the first pastor of the Dutch Collegiate Church of New Amsterdam and to William Warner, who settled in Ipswich, Massachusetts in 1637.
